Quilts in My Mind

I finally unpacked a lot of my fabric this week – I suppose two months after moving into our new place isn’t too bad, is it?  I was surprised as I went through everything at how much fabric I do have, and how many quilts I have designed and started in my head.  Most of them are still just in the stack of pretty fabric stage, but they sure do look great in my mind.  Here are just a few of them:   

I must admit that I am counting down the days until my classes are done.  I can’t wait to start making a quilt for the baby’s room – and I like to imagine that I can get some of these others done before the end of May, too!  In the meantime, I am studying hard (I should be reading right now) and plugging away little bit by bit on the Dotty Dresden project – 3 of 12 squares complete!  Here’s to daydreaming about pretty fabric and what it will become….
