It’s time for show and tell for the Spring 2010 Blogger’s Quilt Festival. Last year when I was browsing all the entries I found several blogs that I still follow now.
I can’t wait to spend some time looking through all of the quilts. I always get so many ideas. Here’s what I have to share.
This is from a great pattern called “Double Dip” by Camille Roskelley. Using just one layer cake, you get two great lap quilts. This was my first time making a whole quilt out of half square triangles, and I got a lot of practice, since it is made up of precisely 110 of them. I worked on this quilt for months; cutting, piecing, ironing, trimming, ironing again, piecing again. But, all that work was worth it in the end because I love how it turned out. It is sitting in my sewing room, patiently waiting to find a good home.
Love it. Everything is better with rick rack. :o)
