Tiny Dresden Party 2019

Last year’s Tiny Dresden Party was so much fun I couldn’t let the month of January go by without celebrating all things Tiny Dresden again.

This year’s party will take place January 16-30.

So, what qualifies as tiny you ask?  A Dresden of any style that measures 5 inches across or less is tiny in my book.

Post a photo of a project on Instagram using a Tiny Dresden from January 16-30 and use the #tinydresdenparty2019 hashtag. Your account must be public so myself and the judges can see your make. That’s it!  Each time you post, you’ll be eligible to win some great prizes from our amazing lineup of sponsors who will choose their favorite project each week.

A huge thank you to our amazing sponsors:

Jan 16-22:

Crimson Confection

Fort Worth Fabric Studio

Robotmom Sews

Handcut Fabric Co.

Jan 23-30:

Daily Like Canada

Sew Stitching Happy

SimplyLoveFabrics

Sew Stacey Sew

Looking for ideas and templates? Check out the Tiny Dresden Roundup  or cruise the #tinydresdenparty hashtag on Instagram.  There were some beautiful makes last year.I have to admit, my very favorite thing to make with Tiny Dresdens is a #minidresdenpinnie.  You can find the tutorial for this fun little make on my blog for free, or you can download the tutorial for a small fee in my Etsy shop (since they don’t allow free downloads.)Plus, I put together a series of four posts last year that take you step by step through making one with tons of tips and pictures.

Mini Dresden Pinnie Tips, Part 2

Mini Dresden Pinnie Tips, Part 3

Mini Dresden Pinnie Tips, Part 4

And, if all that isn’t enough… here’s another post I wrote with more Tiny Dresden Tips and Tricks… plus links to a video I made with help for making perfectly round Dresden centers:

So, even if you’ve never made a Dresden before, I hope you’ll join us… because to quote my friend Denise, #aintnopartylikeatinydresdenparty.

I can’t wait to see what amazing Tiny Dresden creations you make!

    1. Hi there! The size of the final project doesn’t matter at all – just the Dresden must be tiny. You can check out the #tinydresdenparty hashtag from last year on Instagram to see lots of ideas. Hope you can join in!
