I have been pretty busy the last few weeks, and haven’t found as much time as I would like for sewing. But, I did find some time last weekend to complete Block 4 in the Jelly Roll Quiltalong. The hardest part of putting together this block was choosing which two fabrics to use. After that, I was able to cut, piece and assemble the block in just 30 minutes. I like how this block looks a little lopsided, or like stairsteps. It is fun to be surprised every two weeks by a new block, and I can’t wait to see them all come together.
I have kept up on this quiltalong, but I am three blocks behind on the pinwheel quiltalong. In fact, I am supposed to have the entire top done by next weekend. We’ll see.
Just found your blog from Flickr. Looks like you like a lot of the same fabrics and styles and everything looks great. I’m going to add you to my list of favorite quilting blogs.
